Tartu Public Library Annelinna Branch Library

Annelinna Branch Library was converted from a kindergarten and reopened in 2006. It has the most advanced library technology in our system and is the only library building we have that is accessible for disabled users. National folk costume skirt stripes were used on beams hiding pipes. Design by Taisi Kadarik.

Besides Annelinna Branch Library we would like to present two rooms from the main library, completed by separate projects. The wall of the computer room at Children’s Department at Tartu Public Library (main building) was painted by a young artist Vladimir Brovin.

Exhibition room at Children’s Department at Tartu Public Library (main building) was designed by a well-known firm "Laika, Belka & Strelka" who have also designed Tartu Toy Museum (http://www.mm.ee).
